Your First Lesson

What is a Discovery Flight?

The flight lesson takes up to 60 minutes with a certified flight instructor. It is a hands-on experience where you will be treated like a student pilot.

The session includes preflight and postflight duties, route planning, aircraft inspections, and debriefing—tasks normally completed by pilots. Additionally, you will have a brief theoretical training session where you will be taught an Introduction to Aviation by one of our professional pilot instructors.

Get familiar with aircraft documents and performance

Aircraft preflight check with your instructor

In the Air

Be the Pilot in Command of the flight
Learn checklist procedures (Taxi, Take-off, Landing)
Perform basic flight maneuvers
Communicate with Air Traffic Control (ATC)
Enjoy beautiful views of the Algarve landscapes

Post Landing

Evaluation briefing of your flight and skills
Learn how to fill the aircraft logbook and documents
Discuss next steps in your training path
Receive your first logbook entry

Cessna 152

Ideal for your first experience. Includes Instructor and space for the student pilot.

Cessna 172

A larger aircraft with more power. Includes Instructor and space for the student + passengers.

$333* per hour

Identification: Please remember to bring a valid ID or passport with you on the day of the flight to enter the airport premises!
